Pre-Level Jellyfish (Water Exploration)




This class is perfect for the minnows swim for the first time without mom or dad! The emphasis is on having fun, feel comfortable in the water, blowing bubbles, supported front / back float and play water games.


Starfish Level 1 (Introduction to Water Skills)


This class helps students feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the water safely. It teaches water entry / exit, putting the entire face in the water, blowing bubbles through the mouth / nose, floating in front / back with assistance, the arm action on front / back with assistance. Students must complete the following skills before progressing to Level 2: enter the water unassisted, move 5 yards, bob 5 times to chin level and safely exit the water, float on front with support for 3 seconds with the help roll back and float for 3 seconds with assistance.

Seahorse Level 2 (Fundamental Aquatic Skills)

Successful completion of Level 1 exit skills


This class is designed to give students success with fundamental skills. This class teaches the entry of water by stepping or jumping from the side, exit water unassisted, submerge entire head, rhythmic breathing, floating and gliding on the front / rear are not supported, change direction, rolling from front to back and back to the front without support ., Combining arm and leg action on front and back and swim unassisted for 15 feet. Students must complete the following skills before progressing to Level 3: Step from side into chest deep water, move into a front float for 5 seconds, roll to back float, return to standing position, then move to back float for 5 seconds and return to the position stand up, push off and swim using a combination of arm and leg actions for 15 feet on the front and rear.

Blowfish Level 3 (Stroke Development)

This class builds on skills learned in Level 2 by providing additional guided practice. This class teaches the entry of water to jump into deep water, floating in deep water, submerge and retrieve an object from the bottom of the pool, breathing round, front / back glide with 2 different kicks, front / back float unassisted for 30 seconds , change of direction in deep water, treading water, front / back crawl for 15 yards, butterfly kick and body motion. Students must complete the following skills before progressing to Level 4: jump into chest deep water, swim front crawl 15 yards, maintain position for 30 second float or tread water and swim back crawl 15 yards.

Seal Level 4 (Stroke Improvement)

Successful completion of Level 3 skills out

This class helps to develop confidence in the strokes learned in previous classes and other aquatic skills. It teaches you to swim under water, the basic surface dive, open turns on front / back, arm butterfly stroke / time, breaststroke arm / leg action ant time, basic backstroke. Students must complete the following skills before progressing to Level 5: do the leg-first entry into chest deep water, swim front crawl for 25 yards, maintain position back 1 minute in deep water and basic swim backstroke for 15 yards; chest swims for 15 yards, tread water for 1 minute, swim back crawl for 25 yards ..

Dolphin Level 5 (Stroke Refinement)


Successful completion of Level 4 skills out

This class helps with coordination and refinement of all strokes (front / back crawl, breaststroke, butterfly and elementary backstroke) It teaches front / back flip turn and tuck and pike surface dives. Upon completion of the following skills, swimmers can swim team advanced to the Pre-Competitive: enter the water, swim front crawl for 50 yards, maintain position on back for 2 minutes, and swim backstroke for 25 meters of the base; swimming breaststroke for 25 yards, tread water for 2 minutes, swim back crawl for 50 yards.

Notes to Schedule


Not all levels will be offered at any time, please check with the front desk for more information. Children learn at different rates, sometimes a child may need to repeat the grade.
